THE FRENCH FARMHOUSE WEDDING VENUE

Of all the venues in the area, The French Farmhouse stands alone to me in terms of style, substance, hospitality, and usability; all things that planners look for in a venue.

From the moment you book with them, all the way to ending your night, the team at TFF are looking out for you every step of the way, and that’s something that you may not realize you’re looking for, but trust me, every bride and her family are looking for that when planning a wedding. Take it from us: when you work all over the metroplex at every venue imaginable, you see a plethora of leadership and communication styles. Not all venues are looking out for their brides, so when you experience one that is, you hold onto them for dear life! Enter, The French Farmhouse (TFF). 

Opened in 2020 amidst what were probably the worst wedding season conditions known to man, TFF defied all the odds and not only built themselves a brand worth buying into, but have grown it since. Much to everyone’s delight, their on-site AC-filled chapel was completed in 2022, which rounded out the property in a stunning way. No longer are we having to do room flips-where the ceremony site inside the main hall has to turn into the reception site in the span of cocktail hour!The chapel features ceiling to floor windows on 3 sides, a stunning French antique door as the altar backdrop, a side porch with string lights, two bathrooms, an upstairs seating area for late guests, and finally, a fully private holding room for the bridal party with direct access to one of the bathrooms. Are you joking me? It’s like they thought of everything both brides and planners would need at an off-but-on-site location!

Turning to the reception building, the cocktail site is fully turfed, features fun seating options, and overlooks their 56 acres of trees and pastoral beauty. The glass room in the back provides the best space for the buffet line, the rounded bar under the stairs is truly the ideal bar experience, and the soaring ceilings in the reception hall add to the grandeur of the impeccably maintained space. The groom’s loft may be small, but it has its own bathroom, (plus the guys usually are playing putt putt and cornhole at the cocktail site all morning anyway), and the bridal suite boasts gorgeous french windows, bar seating for hair and makeup, plenty of mirrors, a mobile hair chair, as well as its own bathroom. It’s tucked away upstairs,so there’s no concern of anyone accessing it during the night.

Beyond the amenities at TFF, the real reason I love it is because of personal experience. My brother got married here in February 2021, amidst a wild Texas ice storm, and since then, I’ve been a planner on two weddings, one coming up in November of 2026.
