PLANNING A WEDDING AT THE GRAND IVORY IN LEONARD

As a wedding planner, I have the opportunity to work at many venues across North Texas, but the Grand Ivory is always one I look forward to. The ceremony space is one of the most beautiful parts of the property because it creates the feeling of being both outdoors and indoors at the same time. The structure allows light and air to move through the space while still providing a defined setting for the ceremony. As couples exchange vows, the sun often sets directly behind them, which creates an incredible backdrop for both the moment itself and for photos. With the open air and the natural breeze moving through the space, ceremonies at the Grand Ivory feel peaceful and effortless for couples and their guests.

The venue is also thoughtfully designed for the entire wedding day experience. The bridal suite is a beautiful place to start the morning, with plenty of space and natural light for hair, makeup, and getting ready with bridesmaids. The groom’s suite is just as comfortable, complete with a pool table and a golf area so the guys can relax before the ceremony. Once the celebration moves into the reception, the large all white reception hall becomes the perfect canvas for any design style. Because the venue is tucked away from the city, it also creates a sense of privacy that allows couples and their guests to fully enjoy the evening together and celebrate late into the night. From start to finish, the Grand Ivory consistently creates a setting that feels both elegant and relaxed, which is why it is always one of my favorite venues to work at.
