What to Register For, Y’all — A Little Motherly Advice

Okay, y’all. Let’s sit down and chat about your registry.

Here’s my best piece of advice, and I want you to really picture it: imagine you’re hosting Thanksgiving five years from now. What does that look like? Walk through it with me.

Why do I need bridal portraits?

· It is a great time for you to “practice” with your dress, shoes, undergarments, and hair and makeup style. You can then make any adjustments before your big day.

Thankfully, the truth about wedding websites is that they are actually geared towards people who are not familiar with website formation or graphic design, making setup easy.

Wedding websites provide a hub for your wedding invitees to go to for extra information – they allow your guests to be better aware of what to expect at your wedding, such as what food is being served, what your dress code will be, important times to know about, locations for different parts of the wedding, and so on. Although lots of this information is in the invitation, your wedding website provides a secondary source of information easily accessible by phone.

A Seating Chart is just that – a chart with names and table numbers. This can be on a mirror, large sign, list of the back of a program, or even a QR code. Seating charts are usually listed by table number, but if you have a large guest count, I suggest alphabetical order so it is quicker for your guests to find their names and tables.
